The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Logistics Manager to oversee and optimise our transport, collection, and export operations. This is a key position responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of goods, compliance with regulations, and efficient fleet management.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily logistics operations including tyre collection, transport, and export scheduling
Coordinate drivers, vehicles, and routes to maximise efficiency
Oversee fleet management, maintenance schedules, and compliance
Liaise with suppliers, customers, and export partners
Ensure all operations meet environmental and legal regulations
Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements
Manage logistics documentation, including export paperwork
Control costs and improve operational efficiency
Requirements
Proven experience in logistics or transport management
Strong knowledge of UK transport regulations and compliance
Experience in recycling, waste management, or similar industry (preferred)
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage teams and work under pressure
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and leadership abilities
